As host and producer of Destination Polaris, Jared is either just returning from a trip or planning his next one. Adventures take him coast to coast and even Alaska. His favorite stories are the ATV Journey's. Not only does the story focus on great trail riding but Jared spends a day in the local town scoping out all the cool places to hang when you're not riding. When he's not working on Destination Polaris Jared works on a couple of award-winning Outdoor Channel shows. He's the producer of Legends of Rod & Reel and chips in as a writer for Pheasants Forever Television.
After graduating from San Diego State University in 1997, Jared worked in the TV news world until he moved to Minneapolis in 2004. It's there that he met his current wife Melissa and the two got married in Mexico in the fall of 2007. In May of 2009 they celebrated the birth of their first child named Beckett. They live in South Minneapolis with their two dogs, Madi and Maya.
